Elizabeth Alexander's poem at the Presidential Inauguration has struck a cord with me. The following line caught my attention and will not let it go...
"What if the mightiest word is love, love beyond marital, filial, national. Love that casts a widening pool of light. Love with no need to preempt grievance."
